About

This year I am spending the year in the Philippines as JDC’s Philippines Coordinator assisting the Filipino community after super-typhoon Haiyan in November 2013. JDC is the American Joint Distribution Committee, recently celebrated it’s 100th year and works in the field of humanitarian relief in over 70 countries.

I started this blog in 2011 to detail my travels to Ghana for 5 months, working for  Tzedek – a Jewish International Development charity based in the UK. Tzedek funds sustainable development projects all over Africa and India as well as educating the UK Jewish community about extreme poverty and why we as Jews should act to help those living in poverty.

I enjoyed writing so much that I decided to continue writing on topics that I feel passionate about!

This past year I lived in the Moishe House London in Willesden, I am involved in Limmud Conference, and a Rene Cassin Human Rights Fellow.

Welcome to my blog!
